07:30 – pick up from Tel Aviv / Jerusalem hotels.
We drive south along the Philistines coast, passing the cities of Ashdod and Ashkelon. On the way we view the Ad Halom Bridge where the advancing Egyptian army was stopped in 1948 during Israel's War of independence.
We continue further south through Kibbutz Yad Mordechai, which was heavily attacked during the 1948 war, and passing by the city of Sderot, we stop at the Chetz Shachor monument overlooking Gaza strip, which commemorates the battles fought against infiltration and terrorist activities from Gaza.
We proceed to Kibbutz Beeri in the North West Negev, visit the ANZAC monument overlooking the city of Gaza, telling the story of the heroic battles fought by the Australian and New Zealand forces in 1917 World War 1.
Travelling further south we arrive at the Shalom farming region in the North West Negev, visit Moshav Talmei Yosef with its magnificent farms of fruits and vegetables, tasting is available.
We continue following in the footsteps of ANZAC and drive to Park Eshkol in the Negev, see Wadi Gaza and the old railway coming from the Sinai peninsula, built by ANZAC , and proceed south east through the Negev desert along the ANZAC trail passing Khalassa,
Bir Asluj and Bir Mashash, arriving in Beer Sheva - capital city of the Negev.
Visit the British war cemetery where fallen soldiers of the great battle of Beer Sheva Oct/31/1917 are buried.
Travel through the city, view of the old railway station, and end our tour with a visit to the Australian soldier park in Beer Sheva.
Return to point of departure by 19:30.
