lV Study Trip to lsrael and the West Bank
We are now back in Germany after our interesting lV Study Trip to lsrael and the West Bank, and we would like to thank you once more for your efforts in making our trip a success. Your hard work and cooperation with us has made the experience for our delegates enjoyable every year. We are thankful for your work in years past and look forward to working with you again in the future.
Although this was our fourth time visiting your country, our delegates certainly returned to Europe with a better and new understanding of the current political and economic situation of the Middle East. We hope that our visit reminded you, as it certainly did us once more, of the high importance of the trusted friendship between lsrael and Germany.
We are very grateful for your work, and we look forward to returning next spring for Global Bridges' V Study Trip to lsrael and the West Bank.

All your planning was great -- the entire tour was flawless.

Thanks again, Jay Rees

Attention: Shlomi Golan
On behalf of the Mexican delegation on its official visit to the state of Israel from the 9th of November to the 14th, I would like to express our invaluable gratitude and recognition of its excellent job to Mr. Shlomi Golanon our transportation and guidance throughout our days here.
“Salomón” as we called him, was more than just our tourist guide but an amazing friend explaining the history facts that this holy land represents for many people around the world. Shlomi enjoys what he does and that is what makes him special in his new task in life which is, to pass on great knowledge to those who visit Israel.I am personally very pleased with my visit as well as the rest of the families and people from our delegation and I would really like to visit once more.
Mexican states in this visit:
Estado de Durango
Estado de México
Estado de Morelos
Estado de Nayarit
Muchas gracias! Thank you verymuch! Toda, toda jaba!

Shalom Stella, Ronit & Ben: The tours we had were extremely interesting and thoroughly enjoyable. Ben was a great guide and very knowledgeable. The sites you suggested were certainly ones we would never have known about if we had taken the "normal" sites usually visited by tourists. The Light & Sound Show, Israeli Museum, Rosh Hanikra Ramon "Crater" Sde Boker etc., grave of Ben Gurion and his wife etc.renewed my delight in FINALLY getting to Eretz Yisrael after our disappointment previously. It was somewhat astounding that some other cruise lines cancelled, including Royal Caribbean, parent company of Celebrity.
I wish to thank you again for the BEST birthday gift imaginable, Celebrating my 79th birthday in Israel and getting to the Wall --although I had to do it solo since Ken finally got there, accompanied by Ben was the ultimate present I could ever receive.. I think the visit to the Wall renewed Ken's"ardent "Zionist feelings, which he normally keeps to himself, while I express my Zionist feelings openly and very vocally so no one can misunderstand that I have been to MY JEWISH HOMELAND. If I were younger, making an Aliyah would have completed the desire to live in Israel and I have fulfilled the prayer--Nest year in Jerusalem. At least I did have my New Year in Jerusalem and Eretz Yisrael.
If any persons who require tour guides in Israel it would be my honor to recommend Gold Carpet and Ben most highly. Shalom and again many, many thanks for a most memorable visit to Israel,, especially since our disappointment on the prior cruise on Celebrity's Silhouette. Audrey.Ken LidskyInfo

Just to let you know that the most wonderful trip experience my wife and I had while touring Israel may come to ebb and pass, but the way you personally arranged, rendered and cared in delivering optimum and excellent services was above and beyond our expectation.
Yet the foregoing words may be eclipsed. It's the special way you and your beloved wife welcomed each and every member of the tour group into your home that resonated vibrantly into the bottom of our hearts, how you made us all feel openly welcomed and appreciated. You indeed treated us kindly and warmly well that my wife and I shall remember such gentle manner as the best.
Also, I remember mentioning to you during our Israel trip regarding the holocaust about our Philippine Commonwealth President Manuel L. Quezon’s remarkable deed, his instrumental act in helping German Jews escape Nazi persecution in 1939 by providing them with visas and safe shelter in the Philippines. On June 21, 2009, a monument to Manuel L. Quezon was unveiled at the 65-hectare Holocaust Memorial Park in Rishon LeZion, Israel’s 4th largest city located south of Tel Aviv. The monument designed by Filipino artist Junyee is called “Open Doors.” It is a geometric, seven-meter-high sculpture rendered mainly in steel and set on a base of marble tiles shipped from the Philippines' Romblon, showing three doors of ascending heights. Here's a link re: Philippines: A Jewish refuge from the Holocaust: http://globalnation.inquirer.net/72279/philippines-a-jewish-refuge-from-the-holocaust
Moreover, thank you very much for your additional duties in acting as our official photographer, especially in the Cana wedding rites. You really enabled and made our fond memories of you as everlasting!
Just wanted to truly and completely express how great our tour guide was. Absolutely every thing he did was to make us happy and did not have a single complaint. He was always in a good mood and smiling no matter what happened. He taught us all so much and I couldn't think of any way he could have done a better job. Because of Dubey, I am most certainly returning to Israel (and after having a guide like Dubey, I will indeed recommend Gold Carpet Touring to my friends and family).Info
Stella went out of her way to satisfy our every request. It was a peasure to deal with her. Dubi also did everything possible to make us comfortable and satisy us in every way & anyway and as Nick has said he made Israel 'alive' for my grandchildren and has awaken a real interest in the country for them - so thank you to the whole 'Gold Carpet Touring' team!!!Info
Hi Stella! I want to thank you for arranging our holiday in June. We had such a wonderful time. Naftaly was great and so accommodating. When he asked what was our favourite day, I could not say as ever day was filled with so many different & wonderful things. Meeting the girl hockey players was a wonderful touch and I am now in contact with them. We are hoping to do an exchange. They come to Canada and we go to Israel.
Would you be able to give me Nafetally's email or to give him mine. We would like to stay in contact with him. I have misplace his business card. Oh and sorry for the spelling of his name.... lol
Thanks again for making our trip so memorable. My Dad said he would go again except for the plane ride. The flight would have to be direct and he would be riding in first class..... lol
Well here's hoping!!
I just wanted to tell you how wondeful our tour was with Ron Gilo yesterday! Our trip to the Dead Sea and Masada was amazing. Ron is so knowledgeable and took great care of us. He also included a quick overview of Jerusalem. We learned a great deal from Ron and gained a greater understanding of Israel. It was a special day we will long remember - We felt like we made a friend in Ron. He is a special man.
We would highly recommend Gold Carpet Touring to anyone - and hope that we will be able to return to Israel again and use your very professional and friendly services.
Thank you, Stella!
Chag Sameach to you and your family and everyone at your company.
Thank you so much for everything you did to make our trip so special. We must start planning for our next visit to Eretz Yisroel in the near future.
I am happy to provide any referrals you wish for future clients

I just wanted to send you a quick note to let you know what a fabulous time we had in Israel. We got to see so much, and everything we planned was great (even though it was a lot to do in one week!) Naftaly also was terrific - he was very knowledgeable, and he made the sightseeing very interesting. He was very accommodating and flexible, and helped us coordinate a couple of things that were not previously planned (for example, we were able to meet my cousin and her daughter in Acco, and my daughter was able to meet with her friend in Cesaria. It was really a pleasure touring with Naftaly.
Thank you again for all of your help in coordinating this special trip for us. We will always remember this as a very special holiday!
All the best,
Good evening, Aliza,
I wanted to be sure to let you know that my coworker and I really enjoyed the tour of the Old City this afternoon. Noah was very knowledgeable about all things related to Israel, and he helped us find souvenirs without cutting out major items on our itinerary. It's just a shame we didn't have more than an afternoon.
Thank you for your patience in arranging this tour, especially for ensuring we received the best tour for our time constraints and the best guide!
Stella (Gold Carpet's tour operator) "was excellent before and during our trip. She was quite patient with me as I kept making changes to the itinerary. I appreciated that she called often during our stay to check on us. Her service was beyond excellent and I would highly recommend your tour company to others."
Eyal (Gold Carpet's tour guide) "was very professional and yet fun to be with. He was able to relate to my husband and I and our teenage daughter. We appreciated that he made a special effort to include things he thought Ashley would enjoy. He was very thorough and clear at explaining sights and answering our questions. Eyal made sure all our tours went smoothly and that we arrived on time to each location. He was also a great shopping guide and directed us to shops that were special and fit our requests. We appreciated that he joined us in tree planting and in orange picking. In addition he was always willing to take family photos and point out great photo opportunities. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Eyal and would request him again on future visits to Israel."
We returned just a few days' ago and I was going to contact you.
I understand that you could not make it to Tel Aviv. It would have been nice.
Our stay in Israel after 43 years was very special. We visited Yad Vashem and Ica Foldessy's name (the lady who saved my life) was carved in the stone wall. It was for all three of us (Marianne, our son Michael and for me) a very special and moving occasion.
Michael is making a movie about our family. We were together in various places in Hungary, Auschwitz, Mauthausen, Yad Vashem and planting trees and Michael was filming. It is a fantastic project. Filming is a hobby, but he takes very seriously. He took out a loan, bought a professional equipment and travelled to Europe and Israel to make this film.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Oren. He made our travel in Israel a very special experience. Oren is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic to give us relevant and interesting information. His friendly nature enhanced our experience. We learnt a lot about Israel, the people, the relationship between the Israelis, Arabs and the Druze. We got a very different picture to the one we read in the press.
Marianne and I will recommend your company to friends who would be planning to visit Israel.
I would like to keep in touch and wish you all the very best .

To whom it may concern,
I, Carmen Vincelj, had a guided tour to Jerusalem on the 1st of July ( booked by the IBDF) with Uri Golani.
I just would like to commend him as I truly had a wonderful experience!
He is very knowledgable, gave me plenty of information, answered patiently endless questions from me and made this whole experience a really wonderful one!!!
I want to take a moment to sincerely thank you for being such a wonderful guide and source of real facts on the history of Israel. Both Darrese and I appreciate your time and knowledge and more importantly the warmth you give as a real human being. Something I find rare in today's world.
Our best wishes to you for a healthy and prosperous life. We hope to see you again soon.

Dear David and Moshe:
We are still enjoying the taste of our short but wonderful trip to Israel and beyond. I want to tell both of you how great you both were in enhancing our tours. Every place we went was new, different and exciting. Cece particularly liked the stop with Tea with Moshe. Our Havurah is particularly excited awaiting the pixs with you, David (once I get them developed and then I will send you copies), because they recall with great fondness our trip with you 23 years ago. Again, my deepest thanks for your time and explanations and the wonderful pleasure of your company. We hope to see both of you soon again.
I wish each of you and your families a very healthy, happy and sweet New Year. L'Shana Tova!! Warmest regards, Trana Labowe.

I would like to personally thank you and your company for the service you provided. Specifically I would like to commend Dubi Stolero who provided an excellent tour of Jerusalem that my mother, wife, and I will never forget.
My wife and I have traveled around the world and would easily rank your Jerusalem tour as one of the best we have ever participated.
I would readily recommend your services to my friends and I look forward to participating in another tour in the future.
Once again thank you for a great experience.

Dear Rita and Basil
Just a quick note from the departure lounge before I leave to thank you both very much for the excellent meeting organisation and for your gracious hospitality. I was so pleased to have the chance to visit and a very special thanks for arranging the tour of Jerusalem yesterday. The guide Phyllis Gil-Ad was lovely and very knowledgeable and I had a terrific afternoon and evening. It was so moving to see places that I have only read about in my bible so thank you for the chance to do that. Please pass on my thanks to the company that organised the tour because Phyllis was truly first class.

Alina: The tour worked out very well and I know we made the right choice going with this company when we only had one day to see many things. Here are the things that made it successful:
The driver was on time.
Before he even started he asked us to stop and take out the itinerary and figure out REALLY how should we organize the day, He listened to us and then changed it to make the best use of time. In this case it meant get right to the old city as fast as possible and then do the other things if time permitted.
Also he asked me about the background of everyone and I told him they don't want to just know what something is they want to know why it is and why is related to other events or places. The guide was a history teacher as well so this was a good match for our group.
I am glad I took the initiative to organize this with you ahead of time because our group never would have gotten out the door on Friday otherwise. I loved Jerusalem. I could have stayed there more days for more organized touring as well as I would just love to wander around all of the streets more slowly on my own. I look forward to continuing to work with you on this project.

Dear Mr. Levy,
As your records will probably show, Ari was a personal guide for me for over 3 days. I just want to let you know that in all my international travels I have rarely met someone who performed so outstandingly in this role. He was knowledgeable, courteous, attentive to my every comfort, very friendly, very informative, and efficient. Like many such individuals, the tourist industry "downturn" has affected him greatly but you shold know that this is an outstanding individual who is a great credit to tourism in Israel.
