Shalom Stella, Ronit & Ben: The tours we had were extremely interesting and thoroughly enjoyable. Ben was a great guide and very knowledgeable. The sites you suggested were certainly ones we would never have known about if we had taken the "normal" sites usually visited by tourists. The Light & Sound Show, Israeli Museum, Rosh Hanikra Ramon "Crater" Sde Boker etc., grave of Ben Gurion and his wife etc.renewed my delight in FINALLY getting to Eretz Yisrael after our disappointment previously. It was somewhat astounding that some other cruise lines cancelled, including Royal Caribbean, parent company of Celebrity.
I wish to thank you again for the BEST birthday gift imaginable, Celebrating my 79th birthday in Israel and getting to the Wall --although I had to do it solo since Ken finally got there, accompanied by Ben was the ultimate present I could ever receive.. I think the visit to the Wall renewed Ken's"ardent "Zionist feelings, which he normally keeps to himself, while I express my Zionist feelings openly and very vocally so no one can misunderstand that I have been to MY JEWISH HOMELAND. If I were younger, making an Aliyah would have completed the desire to live in Israel and I have fulfilled the prayer--Nest year in Jerusalem. At least I did have my New Year in Jerusalem and Eretz Yisrael.
If any persons who require tour guides in Israel it would be my honor to recommend Gold Carpet and Ben most highly. Shalom and again many, many thanks for a most memorable visit to Israel,, especially since our disappointment on the prior cruise on Celebrity's Silhouette. Audrey.Ken Lidsky
